Humble Beginnings

The start of 2020:

Australian bush-fires,

the tragic passing of Kobe and Gigi Bryant, a global pandemic, economic collapse looming, government enforced lockdown, and worst of all a country-wide shortage of TP! You're probably wondering how this year could get any worse. Well, your answer is right here. The creation of this blog!

This blog aims to ground the irrelevant individuals (myself included) that use many mediums to post seemingly interesting content about themselves, but in reality, no one really cares. Yeah, maybe your family and friends will support you and that's great! But the rest of the roughly 8 billion people on the planet, more than likely, don't care about you or your #throwbackthursday post.

Whether it be Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or Myspace (shoutout to my top 8!) social media has cultivated a generation consumed by the thought that they're unique and interesting. Which is partially true in the sense that we're all unique individuals, with unique characteristics and unique flaws. However, the very vast majority of us are not at all interesting (again myself included). Various Instagram influencers, wacky youtubers, and an endless supply of something called E-boys has saturated the internet with soulless content, hours of cringe, and worst of all they've inflated the ego of social media users.

The internet needs correcting.

Balance. Therefore, I've created this blog to humble our egos and check the attitudes that have been consistently unchecked.
